Theming, Voice and Movement
100-hour Advanced Level Training
July 31 – August 11, 2018
Okreblue Retreat Center / Paros, Greece
This 100-hour “Expression” Module is designed to enhance your individual authentic expression, confidence and communication skills as a facilitator. We will explore strategies and tools for teaching Embodied Flow in a skillful and artful way. Through expression you will expand and refine your art of composing and guiding a depthful experience, take the seat of the teacher, and learn to attune your instrument to see, hear and respond to the subtle energetic, physical and psychic layers of what is transcending in your classroom.
As you harness your power as a facilitator you will deepen your skills as an authentic performer, masterful class composer, and inspiring director of flow. In this module you will:
-Find your authentic teaching voice
-Up level your listening, space holding and communication skills
-Hone your advanced skills of class composition and sequencing
-Theme appropriately to students in different teaching contexts
-Learn to design your own classes that resonate with students of all levels
-Strengthen your vocal / physical instrument
-Refine your skills in adjustments and therapeutics
-Explore through improvisation a dynamic range of elements of composition such as space, shape, time, energy and voice
In this advanced art of teaching laboratory you will learn to lay the foundation, carve the path and offer touchstones that guide attention and sensation while masterfully inviting your students to step into the slipstream of being.
Take your practice or teaching to the next level. Each of these three Advanced Yoga Modules (300 hours total / RYT 500 Standard) count for 100 credit hours towards the Embodied Flow School of Yoga 300-hour Advanced Training.
