This extensive 200-hour module examines the practice of yoga through the embodied anatomy perspective.
Drawing from the rich technology of Anusara® School of Hatha Yoga™
and the Body Mind Centering® approach to somatic movement
this module is for the advanced practitioners that wish to dive deeper
into the inner landscape of embodiment.

Sample Daily Schedule
Please note, the first day will commence at 4pm, and the final day will finish at 11.30am.
The daily schedule will be subject to change based on the day and the needs of the students.

This Advanced Yoga Immersions offers you 200-hours credit towards Embodied Flow™ School of Yoga 300-hour Advanced Training. Advanced practitioners are invited to join the immersions to deepen their practice and understanding, or to count as Continuing Education Units (CEU).
YogaLila offers various modules throughout the year that count towards the RYT 500® level of certification with Yoga Alliance (permitting that the student has completed a 200-hour training program either with Embodied Flow™ or another RYS 200).
About Scott Lyons
Scott Lyons is dedicated to integrating embodiment and mindfulness practices into the creative and healing arts. He is a Certified Body-Mind Centering Teacher and Practitioner, Cranio-Sacral Therapist, Visceral Manipulation Therapist, Neuro-Developmental Therapist, Infant Developmental Movement Educator, Registered Movement Therapist and Educator, Trauma Therapist (Somatic Experiencing), Thai Massage Therapist, Mindfulness-based Executive Coach, Hypnotherapy, Experiential Anatomy/ Developmental Movement and Yoga Practitioner, and a 500-hour registered yogateacher. Additionally he holds a BFA in Theater/Psychology (New York University/Tisch School of the Arts) and an MFA in Dance/Choreography (University of Wisconsin.)
Scott specializes in therapies for infants, youth, and adults, and is currently completing his PhD is Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in neuro psychophysiology.
Scott has had the privilege to teach Body-Mind Centering ™ workshops throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. He was adjunct faculty at New York University from 2007-2010, where he co-taught the Viewpoints Studio with Mary Overlie. As an artist, Scott’s work has been performed at BAM, Symphony Space, Dance New Amsterdam as well as theaters through out the United States and Europe.
Scott has lectured throughout the United States on the embodiment practices of gender, sex, and sexuality. He is the director of BodyMindBaby and is currently on the board of directors for the International Somatic Movement Educators and Therapy Association.
