Art of Embodied Expression
Third module of the 300h Advanced Yoga & Somatics Training (in-person & online)
Lead by Tara Judelle
Art of Embodied Expression is the third module of our 300h Advanced Embodied Flow™ Yoga & Somatics Training. This module is mostly in-person with a small online portion to integrate the teachings of the full advanced training.
The “Expression” Module is designed to develop your unique authentic expression, space holding capacity, presence, and communication skills as a facilitator. We will explore strategies and tools for teaching Embodied Flow™ technology in creative, skillful, and artful offerings. Through Expression, you will expand and refine your craft and process for composing and guiding depthful experiences. You will learn how as a facilitator to attune your instrument to see, hear and respond to the subtle energetic, physical and psychic layers of what is occurring in your classroom. You will enhance your somatic language and capacity to listen and respond from your whole Self in the classroom.

About the Art of Embodied Expression Immersion
Expression is the product of the body-mind as it interacts in the environment. Through voice, movement, language, and presence we shape the environment through our expression. As facilitators, our capacity to access our instrument skillfully becomes our main tool to direct and connect with the energy of the room. To facilitate potent journeys and offer meaningful but accessible experiences takes endless hours of practice and refinement. Because the aim of Embodied Flow™ facilitators is to offer doorways into agency and flow, the tools we work on in this module focus to help you to:
Find your authentic teaching voice
Up level your listening, space holding and communication skill
Hone your advanced skills of class composition and sequencing
Theme appropriately to students in different teaching contexts
Learn to design your own classes that resonate with students of all levels
Strengthen your vocal / physical instrument
Refine your skills in adjustments and therapeutics
Explore through improvisation a dynamic range of elements of composition such as space, shape, time, energy and voice
In this advanced art of teaching laboratory, you will learn to lay the foundation, carve the path and offer touchstones that guide attention and sensation while masterfully inviting your students to step into the slipstream of being.
